Successes: The day that Alexander Graham Bell submitted his form for the invention of the telephone, there was another submission 2 hours later for a similar invention. Could of this changed Alexander Graham Bell's life and possibly ours forever?
Bell's Patent for the invention of the telephone
Before Bell and Watson created the telephone, they were trying to create the multiple telegraph. Was it luck that the wires fell together to create continuous communication over the telephone?
Alexander Graham Bell
Bell first got the belief from the people when he invented "visible speech". From then on, he had confidence in the people that they would like his inventions and ideas.
Failures:
Bell was stressing due to he knew that other inventors were getting close to completing their invention too. This nearly ended Bell's dreams when he became rushed and knocked his invention off the bench. Luckily, his foot stopped the main part of it from breaking, but just had to redo the adjustments and smaller parts. During his work, he realised he was too concerned about vibrations in human voice and to change that into words. What he really needed to do was to work on electrical inventions that were semi-automatic, and this came to him when he met a local electrician Tom Watson. If he realised this earlier, he wouldn't of been under the stress of other inventors making a telephone before him.
